Creating veg beds at Ffynongroyw

A very productive bank holiday Monday in the sunshine at Ffynongroyw.
We seived out the stones from one bed, with Dai’s fantastic seiving contraption, raked over and raked in well rotted manure, and then started marking out and digging the second bed.

Peas, Potatoes and Perfect Weather

The weather was warm and sunny on Saturday, and there was an excellent turnout. We had a long day, with work starting before 10 and finishing some time around 5, although we did make time to cool off by dangling our feet in the stream off the bridge!

And the winners are…

The miniature garden workshop had perfect weather for the kids to collect materials needed for their gardens.
Gardens were created using moss for grass, twigs for trees, small stones for paths, even Dr Who made an appearance!
