which provides members with the opportunity to help produce their own food.

And the winners are…

The miniature garden workshop had perfect weather for the kids to collect materials needed for their gardens.
Gardens were created using moss for grass, twigs for trees, small stones for paths, even Dr Who made an appearance!

Congratulations to Danielle, winner of the 8 to 11 age group and to Archie, winner of the 5 to 7 age group. We hope they’ll enjoy their prizes of children’s gardening tools, and vegetable and flower seeds.

Bathed in glorious sunshine and temperatures of 23ºc while the kids worked on their creations the adults installed the rabbit proof fence and weeded the potato bed, now invaded with rosebay willowherb.
