The role of the Core Group is the overall running of FlintShare, balancing the needs of the different sites, monitoring the money and dealing with the outside world.

Currently the group is made up several volunteers who offered to help running FlintShare.

Lisa Mcloughlin

Lisa is studying an MSc in coaching psychology and is supporting the Core Group with events management.

Rachael Drew

With previous experience in the commercial sector, Rachael is now studying law and is helping the Core Group develop the company.

Peter Brownhill

Peter has an MSc in sustainable design with environmental and energy studies. Peter is Treasurer for FlintShare.

Mark McKellier

Mark is a graphic designer and created the FlintShare logo and website. He is also a beekeeper and  is looking after the bees at Cilcain. Mark is co-ordinator for the Hawarden site.

Nikki Giles

Nikki is an organic horticulturist who teaches Grow your Own Veg workshops for beginners. She has helped to get FlintShare off the ground and continues to aid its development. Nikki is Chair.

Vicky Weale

Vicky works for Local Government. She has helped to organise volunteer groups to carry out work at Cilcain and takes the notes at the core group meetings.

Colin Hughes

Colin is now retired and is active at the Northop site. He has been growing garden veg for over 30 years.

Lucy Catt
